Mammootty’s One shoot to resume by January-end
Mammootty’s political film ‘One’ has been eagerly awaited by many. The makers had wrapped up almost 90% of the shoot by last January itself. However, due to the pandemic, they had to put things on hold. They have two more days of shoot left and they are planning to complete it by the end of this month. It is an important sequence involving Mammootty amidst a huge crowd. The makers have informed that the star’s new bearded-look won’t be of any issue for the shoot.
‘One’ has Mammootty playing the role of Kerala Chief Minister named Kadakkal Chandran. Bobby-Sanjay duo has scripted the film and it is directed by Santhosh Viswanath of ‘Chirakodinja Kinavukal’ fame. The film has a bunch of talented supporting actors in the cast. Murali Gopy and Joju George will be seen in prominent roles as the opposition leader and party secretary, respectively.
Nimisha Sajayan, Ranjith, Mathew Thomas, Gayathri Arun, P Balachandran, Sudev Nair, Suresh Krishna, Salim Kumar, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Alencier Ley Lopez, Mamukoya and many others are part of the cast. Vaidy Somasundaram is the cinematographer and music department is handled by Gopi Sunder.
