MG Sreekumar turns an actor
Popular playback singer MG Sreekumar was keeping a low profile for sometime before he returned to amaze Malayalis once again with the superhit songs in Mohanlal- Priyadarshan team’s Oppam. He lent his voice for all three songs in the movie, all three of which became chartbusters ruling the playlists for weeks.
The veteran musician is now taking up a new role in art. He has played the lead role in a short film titled MN Nambiarkku Balan K Nairil Sambhavichath. Written and directed by Subash Anchal, this short film is a satire on crime and gundaism. It also stars Sam Mathew, Dr Prasad, Jibin, Keerthy Krishna, Sherin, Krishnaveni, Adithyan, Appu, Shyju and many others. America based Mercy Samuel has bankrolled this short film.
Dialogues are written by Dr Prasad while cinematography was handled by Prakash Rana. Vijaykumar is in charge of the edits and Rani Rafel has composed the music for this short film. Art department is lead by Ramu. Gopan Sasthamangalam is the executive producer.
The short film will be released in all social media platforms by March end.
