Young Kollywood star Dhanush who is unarguably the most talented young actor in Tamil film industry admitted earlier that he is a diehard fan of Malayalam Super star Mohanlal who is considered as the greatest actor living in Indian Soil. Kast day the SIIMA awards telecasted in the channels of Sun Network and during that award ceremony Dhanush said that according to him if the top 10 actors from all around the world is selected, Mohanlal will be there in that top 10 list and he will be the one who sure to be present in that list.
Mohanlal was present in the function to give awards for the best actors from the different south Indian film industries and he is the one who also presented the lifetime achievement award to Mollywood’s legendary actress KPAC Lalitha as well. Dhanush wins the best actor award from tamil whil Nivin Pauly won it from Mollywood. Allu Arjun was the receiver of that award from Telugu. Allu Arjun also said that Mohanlal is his most favourite actor from mollywood and love to work with him. In fact he said he one of his all-time favourite as well when he came to Kerala.
Dhanush said while receiving award from the legend that Mohanlal is an inspiration for him. Dhanush also said that Mohanlal is a pride of the nation and the most precious property own by Kerala. Mohanlal also sang the song “Why this Kolaveri Di..” when popular singer Usha Uthuppu as ked him to sing with her. The song was originally sung by Dhanush and he was enjoyed it a lot when the legend who he admires the most sing that song standing beside him.
People have the opinion that it was like a complete Mohanlal show as everyone there seems to be the fans of this great man as almost all of the celebrities came there expressed the fact that they are his admirers and followers. Even the crowd response was unbelievable too each time his face came on big screen and his name was uttered. Actor Nivin Pauly too said that it was his greatest luck in his life that he had got the chance to receive his first ever best actor award from the hands of Mohanlal after seeking his blessings by touching his feet.
