Mohanlal to join the final schedule of Odiyan next month!
The team of Mohanlal’s upcoming movie Odiyan has been on a break for nearly two months now. The third and final schedule was supposed to start rolling this month but got pushed due to Mohanlal’s other commitments. Following that, there were reports about Odiyan getting delayed further. However, we now hear that the final leg of shoot for Odiyan will be commencing next month itself.
Mohanlal is now shooting in Mumbai for Neerali, his upcoming with director Ajoy Varma. He has allotted 15 days call sheet for this movie, touted to be a thriller. Upon its completion, Mohanlal is expected to join team Odiyan. He might also shoot for Kayamkulam Kochunni in between.
Odiyan marks the directorial debut of noted ad filmmaker VA Shrikumar Menon. The movie based on the life of odiyans is scripted by National award winner Harikrishnan. Mohanlal, Manju Warrier and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. In this upcoming schedule, the younger versions of the trio’s characters will be shot. All three of them will be appearing in multiple getups in the movie.
Around 70 days of shoot is left for the movie. Aashirvad Cinemas headed by Antony Perumbavoor is funding this big budget movie. Reports suggest that the makers are planning to release the movie in October.
