Director Priyadarshan had announced a big budget multi-lingual film with his friend and Universal Star Mohanlal a month before which was all set to go on floors from the first week of coming October month. But now the news coming in that the project has postponed its shooting to next year March due to the bad weather condition there at Russia where the film was planned to shoot. The temperature there was decreased to a minus level and filming is not possible for a big crew in that unfamiliar surroundings at that bad weather condition.
The project was planned with a budget around 30 crore rupees and was the highest budget film ever announced in Mollywood. It reportedly set to tell the story of a man and his wife’s journey to Russia to find the missing mother of the wife. Apart from Mohanlal only 3 other Mollywood actors was selected to play a part in the film and they are Prathap Pothen, Aparna Gopinath and Sasi Kumar. Other 21 actors in the film was of Russian origin.
The film will be made in five languages which include Malayalam, Chinese, Russian, Turkish and Azeri languages. The flick will be financed by Jaison Pulikkottil and Rouf Ji Mehdiyev who is a Russian financier. The film is not yet titled as well. The flick is an action thriller and Mohanlal is all set to perform some great action sequences in the film as well. It was not a usual Priyadarshan genre as he always gives more importance to comedy films. Music maestro Ilaya Raja will compose the music for this upcoming flick.
Priyadarshan anyway has the dates of the Superstar and he told that in the gap he is all set to do another film with Mohanlal and Mukesh in the lead and is now working on a script and hearing some others to work upon. Earlier reports came in that it will be a film named Ammu to Ammu and it will be a comedy film as usual. So now we are in to see two Mohanlal- Priyadarshan films back to back if everything goes well.
