Mohanlal–Tharun Moorthy Film L366 First Look Unveiled; Mohanlal Plays Sub-Inspector Laulajan
The first look of L366, the second collaboration between Mohanlal and director Tharun Moorthy, has been officially released. The poster introduces Mohanlal’s character in the film, Pettah Sub-Inspector T.S. Laulajan, and has already sparked strong buzz among fans.
Mohanlal appears in a highly intriguing and humorous avatar, standing in a police uniform with untied shoes in hand and wearing slippers, sporting a playful expression. The quirky first look hints that comedy will play a major role in the film. The actor is also seen returning to his moustached look, adding to the nostalgic appeal.
Written by Ratheesh Ravi, L366 marks Mohanlal’s return to a police role after a long gap, making the project even more special. The film is cinematographed by Shaji Kumar, with music composed by Jakes Bejoy and editing handled by Vivek Harshan.
Produced by Ashiq Usman under the banner of Ashiq Usman Productions, the film has Binu Pappu as the co-director. Meera Jasmine plays the female lead, while the supporting cast includes Manoj K Jayan, Irshad Ali, Jagadish, Pramod Veliyanad, and several other prominent actors.
Mohanlal and Tharun Moorthy previously teamed up for the industry hit Thudarum, which received wide acclaim. L366 is being filmed across locations including Thodupuzha, Sabarimala, and Hyderabad, and the shoot is expected to be completed by May this year.
With its refreshing first look and the promise of a light-hearted yet engaging narrative, L366 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Malayalam films in Mohanlal’s upcoming lineup.
