Mohanlal to Join Mammootty-Mahesh Narayanan Project by February 2025
Malayalam cinema legends Mammootty and Mohanlal are set to reunite on screen after 16 years in an upcoming film directed by Mahesh Narayanan. The untitled project, which has garnered immense attention, features Mammootty in the lead role, with Mohanlal playing a pivotal part. According to the latest reports, Mohanlal is expected to begin shooting for the film by late January or early February 2025.
This highly anticipated multi-starrer is set to be one of Mammootty’s most expensive projects to date, produced by Mammootty Kampany and Aashirvad Cinemas. Initially, the role offered to Mohanlal was intended for actor-politician Suresh Gopi, but due to scheduling conflicts, Mohanlal stepped in. His scenes are expected to be shot over one or two schedules, spanning around 30 days.
Rumors suggest that other popular stars like Fahadh Faasil and Kunchacko Boban may also join the cast in significant roles, making the film even more promising. Fans are eagerly awaiting the iconic duo’s onscreen reunion, which promises to be a landmark moment in Malayalam cinema.
