The much-awaited Malaikkottai Vaaliban, featuring the illustrious Mohanlal, is set to hit screens on January 25, 2024. Directed by the acclaimed Lijo Jose Pellissery, this cinematic marvel stands as one of Mollywood’s most anticipated films.
In a groundbreaking development, Malaikkottai Vaaliban has clinched the largest overseas distribution deal in Mollywood’s history, promising the grandest international release ever witnessed for a Malayalam movie.
Phars Films and Aashirvad Release will spearhead the distribution across the Gulf markets, guaranteeing the most extensive release for a Mollywood production in this region. Vingles Entertainment, in collaboration with Cyber Systems and RFT Films, will oversee distribution in other key international markets.
Adding to its accolades, the film has also secured record-breaking deals for satellite and digital rights. Asianet will serve as the satellite partner, while Disney Plus Hotstar takes charge as the digital platform for Malaikkottai Vaaliban. Domestically, Maxlab and Century Films will handle distribution, ensuring a wide reach for eager audiences. Notably, Saregama has acquired the audio/music rights for this remarkable production.
