Mohanlal’s Markkar: Arabikadalinte Simham to have three different music directors!
As reported by us earlier, Priyadarshan’s mega budget flick Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham is getting ready to go on floors on December 1. After months of pre-production, the makers have finalized the cast and technical crew. Set works are progressing in Ramoji Rao Film City, where major portions will be shot. The movie has been planned to be made on a massive budget of Rs 100 crores.
In a recent interview, director Priyadarshan revealed that he is trying to experiment with the music. He has roped in three different composers, but didn’t reveal their names. Ilayaraaja, MG Sreekumar and ‘Premam’ fame Rajesh Murugesan are some of the names that are doing the rounds in social medias. Others in the technical crew include cinematographer Tirru and production designer Sabu Cyril. Some other leading technicians from abroad will also be associated with this ambitious project.
Leading actors like Arjun Sarja, Suniel Shetty, Pranav Mohanlal, Mukesh, Keerthy Suresh, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Manju Warrier and Pooja Kumar are said to be part of the cast. Few British and Chinese actors will also be seen in major roles in the movie.
Aashirvad Cinemas, Confident Group and Moonshot Entertainment are coming together to produce what is one of the most expensive projects in Malayalam cinema till date. The makers are planning to complete the entire shoot by next March and the film will be hit screens only in 2020 as it demands extensive post production works.
