Mohanlal’s next with Spadikam director Bhadran likely to start rolling in April
It has been a while since speculations about Mohanlal reuniting with director Bhadran started surfacing online. Recently, it was reported that the director is planning to make a jungle-adventure movie with Mohanlal in which he was said to be playing the role of a mahout. However, the director himself came out quashing these reports as baseless. But he had informed that he will be working with Mohanlal very soon.
If reports are to be believed, this much awaited project is finally materializing. Bhadran-Mohanlal duo’s comeback movie is most likely to go on floors in April. Reportedly, the director has finished scripting and is currently in the process of finalizing the cast and crew.
Earlier in an interview, Bhadran had revealed that the his next with Mohanlal will be a road movie shot entirely outside Kerala. It will be an action-packed film based on some real life events. The movie will have equal dose of romance, family drama and humour. Mohanlal plays a powerful character – a tough guy but with a gentle heart. During that time, Bhadran had said that Tamil actor Sarathkumar, Ramya Krishnan and Siddique will be playing crucial roles in the movie. However, we will still have to wait for an official confirmation.
Bhadran has previously worked with Mohanlal in four films namely Uncle Bun, Spadikam, Olympiyan Anthony Adam and Udayon. Spadikam, released in 1995, is widely regarded as one of Mohanlal’s best films till date. The movie enjoys a enjoys a cult status among the Malayali audience.
