Mohanlal’s ‘Thudarum’ Likely to Release on April 25 Instead of May
The much-awaited Malayalam film Thudarum, starring Mohanlal and Shobana, is reportedly eyeing an earlier release date. Initially planned for a May 1 or May 8 release, industry buzz suggests that the makers are now considering April 25, 2025, as the new release date. While an official announcement is yet to be made, this change could be a strategic move to avoid box office clashes and capitalize on the April holiday weekend.
Directed by Operation Java fame Tharun Moorthy, Thudarum is a highly anticipated film featuring Mohanlal in the role of a taxi driver named Shanmukham. Produced by M. Renjith under the banner of Rejaputhra Visual Media, the film also stars Shobana, marking an exciting reunion with Mohanlal. The supporting cast includes Farhan Faasil, Irshad, Abin Bino, Thomas Mathew, and Maniyan Pilla Raju. With cinematography by Shaji Kumar and editing by Shafeeque V.B. and Nishadh Yusuf, the film is expected to be a visual and emotional treat.
