National award winning Bollywood actor Manoj Joshi in Odiyan!
Ever since its announcement, Mohanlal’s Odiyan has constantly been in the news. Shoot for this much awaited movie directed by VA Shrikumar Menon is nearing its final stages. The movie scripted by Harikrishnan has Mohanlal, Prakash Raj and Manju Warrier in the lead roles. Reports about a Bollywood actor playing a crucial role in the movie has been doing the rounds for a long time now.
If latest reports are to be believed, the makers have signed veteran actor Manoj Joshi for this role. A Gujarati by birth, Manoj has done many memorable roles in Hindi movies. He is also a regular in Priyadarshan’s movies. Last year, Manoj won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the Marathi movie, Dashakriya.
The makers of Odiyan are yet to officially confirm about Manoj Joshi’s casting. Shoot for the movie is currently progressing at Palakkad and the team will be moving to Vagamon next week. Mohanlal, Prakash Raj and Manju Warrier will be part of this upcoming brief schedule in Vagamon. The makers are planning to wrap up shoot by the end of April or early May to ensure a grand release for this year’s Pooja season. Antony Perumbavoor is producing the movie under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
