Young star Nivin Pauly is going great guns after the consistent success he is getting at the box office and the recent one Premam has become the biggest hit in Mollywood after Drishyam and Bangalore Days in Mollywood. Throughout this summer this young man was in the news most of the time and the popularity of this actor had increased considerably as well. He is also become the committee member of AMMA, the association of Malayalam movie artist and it made him a really prominent figure in our industry. Recently he had won the film fare award for the best actor (critics) for the performance of him in the last year Abrid Shine directorial super success named 1983.
Now his every move becomes a source of news for Mollywood film lovers and there is another one for them just came in. According to reports Nivin Pauly is going to play the lead role in the Malayalam and Tamil version of a Kannada film named Ulidavaru Kandante which had won three film fare awards as well. The Kannada film which got financial and critical appreciation was directed by Rakshit Shetty and he will be credited with the title of writer in its Malayalam and Tamil version as well.
The Malayalam and Tamil version will be directed by Gautham Ramachandran. The kannada director Rakshit Shetty had got the best director Film fare award for this film. Ulidavaru Kandante is about a murder and the story focuses upon 5 characters and their view point on this murder. So it will be like the mixture of five stories related to a single incident. The film had taken its inspiration from the Akira Kurosava classic Rashomon and it had also screened in Cannes Film Festival.
The Kannada version is set in the backdrop of Mangaluru and the Janmashtami festival there and the Malayalam and Tamil version will be set in the backdrop of Kerala and Tamilnadu boarder and Mother Mary’s birth anniversary mostly.
