Oppam making waves in overseas market too
Oppam, the biggest blockbuster in Mollywood this year starring complete actor Mohanlal, had already amassed 26 crore+ from its 18 days run here in Kerala and now making waves in overseas market too. The film had released in UK, Ireland and New Zealand on the 23rd September and getting fantastic reception there.
Due to huge rush, people demanding extra shows for the movie there and in New Zealand, the distributors had already arranged extra shows in next weekend. Usually when Malayalam movies releases in New Zealand, they have only shows in weekend time. But due to great rush and reception, the overseas distributors of Oppam had decided to conduct regular shows there from the 29th of September.

In UK and Ireland too, the flick has been getting fabulous reception. PJ Entertainments had released the movie there on the 23rd of September. The flick had amassed a figure of 32.3 Lakhs from its first weekend there and it is a fantastic opening for a Malayalam movie.
In UK and Ireland, the flick had released in 119 screens and it is a new record in Malayalam Cinema as well. Oppam will hit the screens in GCC market from the 29th of September and it is expected to make it big there.
In rest of India market too, the film is doing great. From Chennai alone, the film had earned 43 lakh+ from 17 days of its run there and entered in the Top 5 in Chennai Box office.
