Oppam set another record : Releasing in 119 screens in Ireland and UK
Not just in Box office, in its release in overseas market too, Mohanlal starrer Oppam is creating history. Oppam is all set to release in European countries like UK and Ireland on the 23 of September and it will have record 119 screens there, which is a record in Mollywood.
PJ Entertainments will distribute the movie in Ireland and UK Markets and they had published the theater list and show times in their website. The UAE release of the movie will be on the 29th of September and there too it is expected to break all previous records in terms of releasing centers.
It was Mohanlal starrer Drishyam, which is still the biggest box office success in our industry, really opened up the possibilities of overseas market in Malayalam Cinema. Drishyam had made huge impact in overseas market and made records there as well in box office collections.
Then we saw movies like Premam, Ennu Ninte Moideen, Two Countries etc repeating that feat in overseas market. In rest of India market too Drishyam is the one which made huge impact at first from Mollywood. Now, Oppam is one of the much anticipated movie for Malayalees and film lovers who are living abroad.
Oppam is moving towards another industry hit status in Mollywood and let’s hope that it create new history in overseas market as well.
