Petta teaser to be released tomorrow as a Rajinikanth birthday special
After the tremendous response for the songs, the makers of ‘Petta’ are set to begin the next set of promotions. Tomorrow (December 12), on the occasion of Rajinikanth’s birthday, the movie’s much awaited teaser will be released in online space. The songs and posters that have been released so far, have got great reception from the Tamil audience. Director Karthik Subbaraj and team have promised to bring back the superstar of old times in all his glory.
Along with Rajinikanth, ‘Petta’ has a huge lineup of actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sasikumar, Bobby Simha, Simran, Trisha, Malavika Mohanan, Sasikumar, Megha Akash and Mahendran. The movie touted to be an action packed mass entertainer reportedly has Rajinikanth as a professor, who has a dark past. Simran and Trisha are paired with him in the film.
Kalanithi Maran is producing the movie under the banner of Sun Pictures. It is scheduled for a massive worldwide release, coming January.
