One of the much awaited actor-director combination is coming again to make a visual treat for all of us. It is the Prithviraj and Jeethu Joseph team. They had joined together for the first time in the film named Memories in which Prithviraj played a Cop who is addicted to Alcohol. The flick was a super hit at box office and also well appreciated by critics as well. The film released in 2013 was considered as one of the best films in Prithviraj’s career and also one of the best investigation thrillers in mollywood film history as well.
Right after that Jeethu Joseph had made Drishyam starring Mohanlal which released in the same year December and broke all existing collection records in Malayalam cinema and set new ones which is now seems almost impossible to broke by any other. People loved Mohanlal- Jeethu Joseph combination along with his combination with Prithviraj as well.
Jeethu Joseph had later done Life of Jossootty with Dileep in the lead which amassed good critical appreciation but not made a big impact at box office as people expected another Drishyam from him. Jeethu already told that his next films will be with Prithviraj, Kavya Madhavan, and Mohanlal respectively. Now as per reports the Prithviraj flick which will be directed by Jeethu Joseph may start in this year December. The shoot will start after Prithvi completes the ongoing film of his named Darwinte Parinamam. As per sources the film will reach the screens on next year Vishu season. The film said to be a crime thriller is untitled as of now and the details will be announced just before the shoot starts.
Prithviraj who is now going through a purple patch of his career with consecutive big successes will be looking forward to this project as well. The sweet memories given by Memories will make him and Jeethu to go a little higher up this time as well with a stunning film. Another most awaiting film of Jeethu is his upcoming project with Mohanlal in the lead after Drishyam and undoubtedly that will be the most awaited film of Mollywood in the recent times.
