Prithviraj’s dream project Aadujeevitham dropped off?
We had earlier reported that director Blessy will be directing a movie titled Aadujeevitham based on writer Benyamin’s famous novel of the same name. Prithviraj Sukumaran was to play the lead in this movie which is about the life of an abused migrant worker in Saudi Arabia. He was said playing the character Najeeb Mohammed from the novel.
Prithviraj quite a few times described the movie as a dream project of his. The veteran director had planned to do the movie by mid 2017, June to be precise. A buzz that has now come from Mollywood is that the movie has been dropped. The actor has to go through a drastic makeover to be Najeeb Mohammed in the movie. Prithviraj, sticking to tight schedules has no time to undergo such makeovers. He has currently completed Roshni Dinaker’s My Story and the first schedule of Vimanam, after which he has joined the sets of Adam Joan. He has not yet started the shoot of Detroit Crossing and R. S. Vimal’s biggie Karnan. He also turns a director next year through Mohanlal’s Lucifer. Infact, this was the main reason why the production crew had to drop the movie.
Aadujeevitham (Goat Days) is an award winning novel. The book won the prestigious Kerala Sahitya Akademi award in the year 2009. The feature film was to be a multilingual made in three languages, Malayalam,Tamil and Hindi.
