Pulimurugan will gross 100 crores from the Malayalam version itself : Vysakh
Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan is continuing its terrific run in the box office. The movie has already collected over 60 crores from three weeks of its release.
Recently, it became the first movie in Malayalam cinema history to collect 50 crores from Kerala box office.
The movie also broke the record held by Mohanlal’s 2013 blockbuster Drishyam for the all time collections in Kerala.
Pulimurugan’s director Vysakh has assured that the movie will collect 100 crores from the Malayalam version itself.
There are plans to remake the movie in other industries. Telugu dubbed version Manyam Puli will be released next month.
Pulimurugan’s massive success has shown that big budget movies can reap huge commercial success. Pulimurugan’s success has inspired many filmmakers in Mollywood to plan movies on a large scale.

Even after three weeks from its release, most of the weekend shows in Kerala are also houseful.
This action entertainer will be releasing in Europe on November 4th in over 100 theatres. This is a record release for a Malayalam movie overseas.
Since the movie has already collected above 60 crores and with the satellite and overseas rights taken into account, it is just a matter of time before Pulimurugan touches the 100 crore mark. If that happens, it will be the first time in history of Malayalam cinema.
