Raashi Khanna plays a baddie in Mohanlal’s Villain
Tollywood actress Raashi Khanna is making her Malayalam debut through B Unnikrishnan’s upcoming movie Villain starring Mohanlal in the lead. The actress will be seen as a police officer in the movie.
Villain is touted to be a crime thriller with Mohanlal playing the role of Mathew Manjooran, an ex-cop. We hear that Raashi Khanna’s character will have negative shades, locking horns with Mohanlal. The pretty actress made her entry to cinema through the critically acclaimed Bollywood movie Madras Cafe, where she played John Abraham’s wife.
Shoot for Villain is currently progressing in Ernakulam. The first schedule was wrapped last month in Trivandrum, where Rashi Khanna was seen shooting alongside Mohanlal. The movie has an ensemble star cast in Manju Warrier, Vishal, Srikanth and Hansika Motwani.
Villain is the first Malayalam movie to be shot completely in 8K resolution. Acclaimed cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa is cranking the camera. An international company from Poland have been roped in to handle the visual effects. Peter Hein will choreograph the stunts along with Stunt Silva. Music for the movie will be composed by Oppam fame 4 Musics.
Rockline Venkatesh who has produced movies like Lingaa and Bhajrangi Bhaijaan, is funding this big budget movie.
