Rajisha Vijayan about social media
Social media has it’s share of pros and cons. It provides a platform where people can express themselves and voice their opinions. But unfortunately, most people use the flip side where they tend to spread negativity and false news with the mask of fake accounts.
Celebrities are the most affected in the cyber world. With the arrival social medias, celebrities can interact more with their fans and well wishers. But most of them tend to stay away fearing backfire and derogatory comments. Actress Rajisha Vijayan is one such celebrity who is not a big fan of social medias.
Rajisha shot to fame with her debut movie Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, which also won her a Kerala State Film Award for best actress. Once a regular social media user, Rajisha has happily kept away from the virtual world for over two years now.
Rajisha feels that it is a space brimmed with false news and fake accounts. Social media users do not have enough time to spend time outside that space as they are preoccupied with their phones. Even when a woman is attacked, people want to know whether there is videos of the incident. The actress says that she cannot tolerate such culture and hence chose to stay away.
On the work front, Rajisha recently finished shooting for her upcoming movie Oru Cinemakkaran starring Vineeth Sreenivasan in the lead. The movie’s first look poster was released recently and is expected to hit screens by next month.
