SIIMA Awards 2017; Mohanlal bags Best Actor, Vijay wins Best Entertainer
The sixth edition of SIIMA 2017 (The South Indian International Movie Awards) was held in Abu Dhabi on June 30 and July 1. On Saturday, SIIMA 2017 honoured the awards for technicians and artists of Tamil and Malayalam cinema were given away.
Mohanlal won the best actor award in Malayalam while Sivakarthikeyan won the award in Tamil. Ilayathalapathy Vijay was chosen as the entertainer of the year. Nayanthara won the best actress award for both Tamil and Malayalam languages. SP Balasubramaniam was honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award
