Yesterday we reported the news about the decision of the St. Peter’s Day film director Sajan K Mathew to not continue with the production house of Sabumon Abdusamad who has now become notorious in online medias and among film lovers for insulting Mohanlal with his Facebook comments. Sajan K Mathew posted his decision in the official page of the film. Now he has posted in his own page stating the reason behind such a crucial decision.
Sajan K Mathew said in his Facebook status that it is really painful to see when Mohanlal who is a legend and a great artist in our industry being insulted by a person who is nothing in front of him. He said that this irresponsible behavior from Sabumon Abdusamad had prompted him to look for another producer for his film and pull out from the production venture of Sabumon’s Sab Production. This project titled St. Peter’s Day is the result of the dreams and combined efforts of him and his team. So every bad word being said about this project is just like inserting sharp pins to their heart as it is that painful for them. Everyone who has the dream of a film of their own can feel and understand that pain.
Sajan K Mathew says that these kind of Facebook fights triggered by some will affect people who has nothing to do with it as well and his is the recent example of that. Someone posting that photo of Mohanlal with his dog and Sabumon’s rubbish and filthy comment on that which insulted Mohanlal and his late father had put his dreams in jeopardy who has nothing to do with the issue.
The anger towards Sabumon Abdusamad is raising hell of a lot in online medias. When it comes to the greatness of Mohanlal as an actor and as a person, Sabumon is nothing in front of him and has no right and is not even eligible to say Mohanlal’s name. Then people ask how can he be so irresponsible to insult Mohanlal who is almost like a Demi-God to Malayalees. Anyway that emotion towards Mohanlal also prompted Sajan K Mathew to do this as well.
