Suresh Gopi’s 250th film to have music by Arjun Reddy composer Harshvardhan!
Suresh Gopi’s 250th film is sharing up to be a really huge one. The film has created quite a buzz much before it has gone on floors. Debutant Mathew Thomas will be directing the film and it is scripted by Shibin Francis of ‘CIA’ and ‘Paavada’ fame. Tomichan Mulakuppadam, who has backed blockbusters like ‘Pulimurugan’ and ‘Ramaleela’, is producing the film.
Latest addition to the team is music director Harshvardhan Rameshwar, who is best known for his work in the Telugu film ‘Arjun Reddy’. He had also scored music in Dulquer Salmaan’s recent Tamil film ‘Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal’ and Ajay Devgn’s period film ‘Tanhaji’.
‘SG 250’ (tentative title) will be a mass entertainer on the lines of Suresh Gopi’s yesteryear films like ‘Vazhunnor’ and ‘Lelam’. He will be seen playing a Kottayam-based achayan character named Kaduvakkunnel Kuruvachan in this film. Joju George and Mukesh are also part of the cast. The makers are also in talks with a Bollywood-based actress to play the female lead.
Shoot was planned to begin much earlier but due to the Covid-19 situation, they had to reschedule their plans.
