Take Off : Never before seen visuals in Mollywood, high expectations for the movie
Editor turned filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan’s debut directorial Take Off is gearing up for release. Official trailer for the movie was released a few days back. Upon release, the trailer soon started trending across social media platforms.
Take Off tells the story of nurses trapped in Iraq during the war period. The trailer shows glimpses of the demolished surroundings in the war zones, the choppers flying above to rescue the nurses in captivity. The visuals are a never before seen kind in Mollywood.
Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, Parvathy Menon and Asif Ali play the lead roles in the movie. Parvathy Menon and Kunchako Boban appear as nurses while Fahadh Faasil has played the role of Manoj, an Indian ambassador in the movie.
Take Off is produced by Anto Joseph and Shebin Becker in association with Rajesh Pillai Films. Many close acquaintances of the late director Rajesh Pillai have come together for this movie, which is made as tribute to him.
The movie is jointly written by Mahesh Narayanan and PV Shaji Kumar. Sanu Varghese who has worked in big budget movies like Vishwaroopam, Thoongavanam, Wazir etc has handled the cinematography in this movie.
Mahesh Narayanan and Abhilash Balachandran have together done the editing works. Shaan Rahman has composed the music while Gopi Sunder has handled the background score. The movie was shot extensively in Ras al-Khaimah, Hyderabad and Kochi.
