Telugu actress Anasuya Bharadwaj to make her Malayalam debut with Bheeshma Parvam
Mammootty’s new film ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ directed by Amal Neerad film went on floors today in Ezhupunna. Nazriya and Amal Neerad’s wife Jyothirmayi did the first clap. Scripted jointly by Amal and newcomer Devadath Shaji, it is said to be a gangster flick. Soubin Shahir, Shine Tom Chacko, Sreenath Bhasi, Maala Parvathy and Lena are part of the cast.
Telugu actress Anasuya Bharadwaj, noted for her roles in films like ‘Kshanam’ and ‘Rangasthalam’, is making her Malayalam debut with ‘Bheeshma Parvam’. Though details regarding her character is not yet known, it is said to be a prominent one. It is actually her second outing with Mammootty after sharing screen space with him in the Telugu film, ‘Yatra’.
‘Bheeshma Parvam’ is Mammootty’s first film to go begin shooting post the lockdown. Expectations are huge as the megastar is teaming up with Amal Neerad after a gap of 14 long years. They were supposed to start works on ‘Bilal’, the sequel to ‘Big B’, but it got delayed to the pandemic. It is expected to revived after the completion of ‘Bheeshma Parvam’.
