Siddharth Menon is one of the most followed singers in Kerala and he has a great number of fan following in social media circles. He had become very popular in Kerala through his participation in the most famous music band in Kerala named Thaikkudam Bridge and he is also very popular among girls with his charming looks. Now the latest scoop on Sidharth Menon says that he is all set to make his debut on silver screens of Mollywood and that too with a VK Prakash film. The film has been titled as On The Rocks in which Eva Pavithran, the daughter of director VK Pavithran, will play the female lead opposite Sidharth Menon. The shoot of the film had already begun in Bangalore the day before.
Siddharth made many people his fans with his amazing voice and he had many offers before as well to act in films. Siddharth says that he loves acting also along with his music. Many people had offered him roles in films earlier but he hadn’t accepted that due to various reasons. But this time he had put his trust and confidence on director VK Prakash.
Siddharth says that the acting class by Kuloor also helped him a lot and it was a perfect practice for him before starting the film. He says that he is playing the role of a young rock musician and that is why he hopes that it will be easy to portray the character as he is familiar with the life, attitude and nuances of a musician.
The story of the film On The Rocks is based on the rocking Bangalore life of two characters. One is a rock musician and the other is a stylish girl. Eva Pavithran who is the heroine of the film had took initiative to make this film after hearing the story from her friend Rajashree. Rajashree Balaram is a Mumbai Malayali and the story which she wanted to publish as a short story accidently came across Eva and later they decided upon making it into a film. It will have music, love, fashion and so and will be a treat to all the Malayalis.
