Trance: Anwar Rasheed’s next with Fahadh Faasil will be his most expensive film till date!
Fahadh Faasil had a great start to 2017 with the widely acclaimed Take Off, in which he played a prominent role. His next release Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum won rave reviews and is still continuing its successful theatrical run. The actor has some exciting movies coming up like Anwar Rasheed’s comeback film Trance and Venu’s Carbon.
Fahadh recently completed the first schedule of Trance in Kanyakumari. It is one of the most awaited projects of the season as Anwar Rasheed is known to give only quality films. Reportedly, Trance will be the director’s most expensive film till date.
It is being made on a budget of Rs 15 crores, which is quite a big figure considering the limitations of Malayalam film industry. The director himself is funding this movie under his banner Anwar Rasheed Entertainment.
Trance has some big names associated with it like Oscar award winner Resul Pookkutty and Amal Neerad. The former is handling the sound design of the film while Amal Neerad is cranking the camera.
The movie has a big star cast as well, which includes Vinayakan, Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, director Alphonse Puthren and Chemban Vinod Jose. Trance is scripted by newbie Vincent Vadakkan and debutant Jackson Vijayan is in charge of the music department.
The movie is expected to hit screens only by 2018.
