Trance is not a realistic film, it’s a drama that will entertain the audience: Anwar Rasheed
Although Anwar Rasheed’s ambitious project ‘Trance’ has been in the making for over two years, nothing much was known regarding it including the genre or other plot details. Finally, as the film gears up for release on February 14, the director has divulged more details about the film. According to him, ‘Trance’ is not a realistic film but a drama that will entertain the audience.
Debutant Vincent Vadakkan has scripted the film that has Fahadh playing the lead of a motivational trainer named Biju Prasad. The film is centred around his mental and emotional growth at different phases of his life. Nazriya plays the female lead named Esther Lopez, a character that will be totally different from the bubbly roles that she is normally associated with.
Gautham Vasudev Menon, Soubin Shahir, Vinayakan, Chemban Vinod Jose, Dileesh Pothan, Sreenath Bhasi, Jinu Joseph, Joju George, Arjun Ashokan, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Arushi Mudgal and Aswathi Menon are also part of the cast. Cinematographer Amal Neerad, composers Jackson Vijayan and Sushin Shyam, editor Praveen Prabhakar and sound designer Resul Pookutty form the film’s core technical team.
