Vishnu Vishal goes the Vaarnam Aayiram way; Check out his transformation pics!
After the blockbuster success of ‘Ratchasan’, while everyone thought that Vishnu Vishal would become the next big thing in Kollywood, he moved into an oblivion. He has had only one release till then – ‘Silukkuvarupatti Singam’. After a long gap for over a year, he came back to limelight thanks to his amazing makeover. In the first look poster of his new film ‘FIR’, he was seen sporting a lean, toned look. But a lot has gone behind that transformation and Vishnu himself has opened up about it.
Last day, Vishnu took to his social media handle to reveal about tough the last two years had been for him, both phsyically and mentally. An unfortunate divorce with his wife after being together for 11 years, separation from his son, financial losses and a major injury he suffered during shoot all moved him to a state of depression and he found solace in alcohol.
After a months of nothing going his way, Vishnu decided to seek help, physically and mentally. Six months after that, the actor is all charged up now. He has lost around 16 kilos and is currently in a happy state a mind. On the professional front, he has a handful of promising projects coming up.
Vishnu has posted a long note on his social media handle recounting the worst days of his life. He also urged everyone who are going through a similar phase to stay positive and disciplined. He firmly believes that physical health always improves mental health. In his own words, Vishnu went the ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ (VA) way of battling depression and alcoholism to emerge all rejuvenated. Gautham Menon, the director of ‘VA’, even tweeted back to Vishnu. He has written,

Vishnu is now shooting for a thriller film ‘FIR’ Directed by Manu Anand. The film also stars Manjima Mohan, Raiza Wilson in major roles ‘Jagajala Killadi’, ‘Kaadan’ and ‘Indru Nettru Naalai 2’ are his other projects in the pipeline.
