Working with Suriya sir was a dream come true moment: Keerthy Suresh
Keerthy Suresh is currently one of the most wanted heroines in South Indian cinema. The actress already has five films coming up for release in 2018, which speaks volumes about her market value in the industry. Her first film to hit screens this year will be Thaana Serntha Koottam (TSK) in which she is paired opposite Suriya for the first time.
Keerthy is highly excited about sharing screen space with Suriya. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she has been an ardent fan of Suriya right from her school days. Keerthy’s mother Menaka has acted with Suriya’s father Sivakumar in three movies. So, Keerthy had challenged her mom saying that one day she would pair with his son.
When quizzed about her experience working with Suriya, she said, “He is a reserved person and doesn’t talk much. But when I ask for any suggestion, he’s always there to help me out. I’m so happy that my dream to act alongside Suriya sir has come true.”
Interestingly, Keerthy plays a character with no name in Thaana Serntha Koottam. According to her, it is a fun character which involves humour and surprise elements as well. TSK, directed by Vignesh Shivn is adapted from Akshay Kumar’s super hit Hindi film Special 26. The movie also starring Ramya Krishnan, Karthik, Kalaiarasan and Nanda is slated to hit screens for the Pongal holidays, in the second week of January
