700th Film of Actress Urvashi; Trailer of Priyadarshan’s Appatha is out.
Master Director of Indian Cinema, Priyadarshan, is once again coming up with a heartwarming tale. His movie, titled Appatha, is all set for a direct OTT release, and it will be streaming on Jio Cinema starting July 29th. Earlier, this movie had been selected as the opening film at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Film Festival as well.
This is the 700th film of legendary South Indian Actress Urvashi, and she plays the title character in this flick. The trailer is getting great responses from the audience. The film is bankrolled by Jio Studios in association with Wide Angle Creations.
Priyadarshan and Deepthi Govindarajan had penned down the screenplay of this film, based on the story written by Hardik Gajjar. Rajesh Murugesan is the music director of this family drama.
Urvashi has been one of the most celebrated actresses in Malayalam cinema, and she has acted in all South Indian languages in her career, which kicked off in the 1980s. Director Priyadarshan is also approaching the milestone of 100 films in his career. As per reports, his 100th film will be with Mohanlal, with whom he has made the most films in his career
