Neerali marks the Malayalam directorial debut of Bollywood filmmaker Ajoy Varma. Saju Thomas has scripted the movie which has Mohanlal playing the role of Sunny George, a gemologist by profession. Nadhiya Moidu, who is making her comeback to Malayalam, is playing his wife’s role in the movie. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Parvathi Nair, Dileesh Pothan, Sai Kumar, Bineesh Kodiyeri, Megha Mathew and Nasser are also part of the supporting cast.
Neerali has a strong technical crew comprising of famous Bollywood cinematographer Santhosh Thundiyil and composer Stephen Devassy. Director Ajoy Varma himself the edited the movie with Sajit Unnikrishnan. Santhosh T Kuruvilla’s Moonshot Entertainment is co-producing the movie jointly with John Thomas and Mibu Jose Nettikdan.
