Rajinikanth returns back to Chennai after wrapping up Annaathe shoot
Superstar Rajinikanth has successfully completed the shoot of ‘Annaatthe’. The film directed by Siva has been in the making for well over a year. Shoot got delayed multiple times as the makers had to face various hurdles caused by the pandemic. Rajinikanth finally wrapped up the shoot with a non-stop 35 days schedule held in Hyderabad. A video of him returning back to his home in Chennai is currently doing the rounds online.

‘Annaatthe’ is touted to a mass entertainer with a huge star cast. The film is expected to be on the lines of director Siva’s previous film ‘Viswasam’ with prominence to family emotions. The star-studded cast includes four female leads — Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu and Nayanthara. Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sathish, Vela Ramamoorthy, Soori and Bala will be seen in supporting roles.
‘Annatthe’ has music by Imman, cinematography by Vetri and edits handed by Ruben. Sun Pictures is planning to release the film in theatres in November for Deepavali.
