Salaar’s First Single ‘Suryangam’: Ravi Basrur Strikes a Resonant Chord for Prabhas-starrer

Amid sky-high anticipation, the unveiling of Salaar’s inaugural single has ignited a symphony of excitement amongst cinephiles. Fronted by the enigmatic Prabhas, the film, helmed by the visionary Prashanth Neel and backed by Hombale Films, promises an immersive experience for audiences far and wide.

Crafted with musical finesse by the maestro Ravi Basrur, the debut track, christened ‘Sooreede,’ transcends linguistic boundaries with versions titled ‘Aakaasha Gadiya,’ ‘Sooraj Hi Chhaon Banke,’ ‘Aagaasa Sooriyan,’ and ‘Suryangam’ in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, respectively. Each rendition resonates with a unique essence, a testament to the film’s pan-Indian appeal.

Intriguingly, the Malayalam rendition’s lyrical finesse, orchestrated by Rajeev Govindan, adds an extra layer of allure to the song’s narrative. The Malayalam Version is sung by Indulekha Warrier.

As the film earned an A certificate, the release date, December 22, looms closer, sparking a fervor of anticipation among fans.

For the Kerala audience, the esteemed Prithviraj Productions shall herald Salaar’s arrival across 300 screens, ensuring a cinematic treat for aficionados across the state. The star-studded ensemble, featuring luminaries like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy, Jagapathi Babu, and more, promises a visual feast woven with compelling performances.

The earlier-released trailer provided a tantalizing glimpse into the film’s adrenaline-pumping world, setting the stage for an epic showdown come December 22. With Bhuvan Gowda’s masterful cinematography, Ujwal Kulkarni’s precise editing, and the artistic prowess of Shivakumar and TL Venkatachalapathi in production design, Salaar emerges as an all-encompassing cinematic spectacle
