Young and talented New actress Anusree who made her Mollywood debut with ‘Diamond Necklace’ directed by none other than the master craftsman Lal Jose is going big after her surprising hit ‘Ithihaasa’. Now the news is that she is going to be the pair of none other than popular actor Dileep in his new film directed by Sidharth Bharathan, son of the Late Bharatahn, one of the Great Directors of Mollywood. The film is financing by Ashiq Usman, Shyju Khalid and Sameer Thahir under the banner of Handmade films. The writer of the film is Santhosh Echikkanam and DOP will be Shyju Khalid himself. Music department will be handled by Prashanth Pillai.
Siddharth Bharathan who made his debut in Mollywood as an actor in the film ‘Nammal’ along with Jishnu Raghav,son of veteran actor Raghavan and the film was directed by Kamal. Sidharth later turned into direction and his first film as a director was ‘Nidra’ in which he and Rima Kallingal played the lead role. The film got good critical appreciation but not well received in box office. Anusree’s latest release was ‘Ithihaasa’ directed by Binu Kalady was a surprising hit as it was full of new comers behind and in front of the camera along with her. She gave a terrific performance as girl turned boy and it got her tremendous appreciation from the viewers as well as the critics. It was her performance which was the main attraction of the film.
After her dream debut in ‘Diamond Necklace’ as the pair of Fahadh Faasil, She got typecasted and It was her role in ‘Ithihaasa’ that helped her to get out from that shell of typecasting. She got a very good fan following after her role in ‘Ithihaasa’ and that paved the way for Anusree to bag the big deal of getting the role of popular actor Dileep’s pair. Dileep had become a lucky charm for many heroines and Anusree hopes that this film and role will be the turning point in her life as an actress.
Dileep is now busy on the set of his latest film ‘Maryada Raman’ . Anusree’s upcoming films are ‘Pedithondan’ along with national award winning actor Suraj Venjarammood and ‘Seconds’ starring Jayasurya.
