Prithviraj to shed few kilos for Vimanam Malayalam movie
The first look poster of Prithviraj’s upcoming movie Vimanam was released recently. The movie generated a lot of curiosity among the audience mainly because Prithviraj is again acting as a character inspired from real life.
The actor has earlier given tremendous performances in such movies like Thalapavu, Celluloid and Ennu Ninte Moideen. Vimanam is inspired by the real-life story of Saji M Thomas, a deaf-mute person from Idukki. He became famous after he built a light-weight aircraft all by himself.
Apart from being an inspirational movie, Vimanam will also have an interesting romantic track. The movie will have two different time periods. So Prithviraj will be undergoing body transformation for the two looks in the movie. But it will not be a drastic one because the actor will have to shed few more kilos for director Blessy’s Aadujeevitham.
The actor will also be taking flying classes at a private yard in Tamil Nadu. The movie will have many scenes where Prithviraj’s character will have to fly a light-weight aircraft. The makers are also planning to shoot a few scenes during the training itself.
Prithviraj is currently shooting in Portugal for debutante Roshni Dinaker’s romantic entertainer My Story written by Shankar Ramakrishnan. Parvathy Menon is playing the female lead in the movie. Prithviraj will join the sets of Vimanam after returning from Portugal.
Vimanam is directed by debutant Pradeep M Nair. Gopi Sunder is handing the music department. The movie will be a big budget project as it involves lot of flying scenes that could only be generated graphically using superior VFX works. It is funded by popular producer Listin Stephen. The movie will start rolling on January 20, 2017 and will be shot mainly at Batkal, in Mangalore.
