Director Ranjith Shankar’s next with Kunchako Boban titled as Ramante Eden Thottam
Director Ranjith Shankar has roped in Kunchacko Boban for his next movie titled as Ramante Eden Thottam. The news was announced officially by the director himself through his official Facebook page.
This is the first time the actor-director is working together. Ramante Eden Thottam will be a romantic entertainer, a genre the director has not tried before.
Ranjith Shankar’s last movie was the superhit horror comedy Pretham starring Jayasurya in the lead. Recently the 75 days success celebration of the movie was held in Kochi. The event was attended by many prominent film personalities including Kunchako Boban.
The director in his Facebook post has written highly about Kunchacko Boban who is on a three month break to transform completely for the title character of Raman.
The director’s post reads,
“I love it when stars go on a break in a pursuit to reinvent themselves. .Think most of my good films and characters happened in such pursuits.. When I narrated raman to this man first thing he told me was that he will need 3 months to prepare for the part.. to get in shape physically and mentally.And that he won’t be shooting anything else in those 3 months. That’s such a confidence boost for any film maker. To Malini He is Ram..To Elvis He is Raman..And His Eden Thottam is special..Kunchacko Boban plays HIM.”
More details regarding the rest of the cast and the heroine have not yet been officially announced. Ramante Eden Thottam will go on floors by February next year.
Kunchako Boban will be next seen in Take Off, the directorial debut of editor Mahesh Narayan.
Take Off is the story about the nurses trapped in Iraq during the war period. Kunchacko Boban and Parvathy Menon play nurses in the movie. Fahadh Faasil is playing the character of an embassy official in the movie. Asif Ali is also playing a pivotal character.
The movie is produced by Anto Joseph and Shebin Becker in association with late director Rajesh Pillai’s production house, Rajesh Pillai films.
