Dileep is all set for a Grand return after the failure of previous release named ‘Villaliveeran’. The actor is currently completing the shoot of ‘Maryadaraman’ at pollachi and The Popular actor’s upcoming film is titled as ‘Chandrettan Evideya’, which will be directed by Sidharth Bharathan. Anusree and Vedhika will play the female leads in this flick. The film also will have veteran actor Prathap Pothen and KPAC Lalitha in significant roles.
Shyju Khalid will be the DOP of the film and he is one of the co-producer of the film too. Prashanth Pillai will control music department. This will be sidharth harathan’s second film. His first film was ‘Nidra’ starred by himself and Rima kallingal was a failure at box office even though the film has got good appreciation from the critics. This time, with popular actor Dileep in his Bag, he hopes to deliver a commercial film which will have all the ingredients to be a commercial success.
Mean while the heroines of the film are also on a High note with successes in their bag. Vedika who has made her debut in mollywood with dileep in the film named ‘Sringaravelan’ had already become very popular in south India with the great success of her recent Tamil film ‘Kaviya Thalaivan’ in which Prithviraj and Sidharth done the male leads and directed by national award winning director Vasantha Baalan.
Her first film Sringaravelan with dileep was also a big success in Box office and her upcoming release is ‘Cousins’ directed By hit maker Vysakh in which Kunchacko Boban and Indrajith doing the male leads. Cousins is a big budget film and she had high hopes on it. And the other heroine Anusree also coming fresh from a surprise Hit. Her last film ‘Ithihaasa’ in which a lot of newcomers were introduced in to the industry was a surprising hit in Kerala and now the remake rights of the film has been bought by none other than Ulakanaayakan Kamal Hassan. Anusree’s character in Ithihaasa was well appreciated and the role was such that it had become a turning point in her career as she was almost type casted before ‘Ithihasa’.
