The directorial debut of Jude Antony Joseph titled Om Shanti Oshana had released last year February starring Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim in the lead role. The flick which gave more importance to the female lead than the male lead has got great financial success at box office as well. And now it has got appreciation and recognition from the jury of State film awards as well. In the state film awards which is announced yesterday based on the films released last year, Om Shanti Oshana written by Midhun Manuel Thomas and directed by Jude Antony Joseph had received some prestigious awards.
The film had got the award for the most popular as well as aesthetically valuable film. Lijo Paul who edited this film got the best editor award and above all Nazriya Nazim had won the state award for best actress for her character in this film as well as one from Bangalore Days. But the controversies broke out right after the announcement as people thinks that this film don’t deserved the awards such aesthetically god and popular film award and also the award for best actress based on this flick. They showed their criticism on the facebook page of Jude Antony Joseph as well.
As a replay to that Jude Antony Joseph made it clear that he has no plans to refuse to accept the state award which is declared for his film as it is the result of the hard work and effort he and his crew had put in to make the film. He said it is a gift from God to him and there is no use criticizing him or making bad comments about his film. He also said sarcastically that if anyone had that much protest against him then go and drink some Goat Milk and let’s have a sound sleep.
But people had took it very offensively and now they are unleashing their anger and protest against Jude Antony in his facebook posts and he is been trolled in many social media pages and groups. They are making fun of him and even those who followed him for sometimes were also cannot resist trolling or attacking through online as his status had really seems to have provoked the common mass.
