They are now making many films in regional languages in India and they already made their mark in South Indian languages like Tamil, Kannada and Telugu with many major as well as minor films of popular stars as well as upcoming young talents.
Now they are on their way to make their grip tight on Mollywood as well and they had already started their prospect of conquering Mollywood film production and distribution market by financing the film named Life Of Josootty with popular actor Dileep in the lead and which is directed by Jeethu Joseph who is now the most valuable director of Mollywood with the gigantic success of his Mohanlal starrer film named Drishyam which was released two years ago. Backwaters Studios are also distributing Life Of Josootty.
Now as they began with one of the senior actor of Mollywood , now they want to get some young and upcoming star of Mollywood on their banner and as per reports they are making their efforts to get the distribution rights of the Nivin Pauly film Action Hero Biju which is in its filming stage. This film is directed by the State Award winning director Abrid Shine who gave us a great movie and tasted success through his debut film named 1983 and for which he got the state film award for the Best Debutant Director as well.
Sources says that, Eros International is all set to take the distribution rights of the film Action Hero Biju for a whopping 12 crore rupees and they can distribute it in the worldwide market as well. But Nivin Pauly who is also the producer of the film along with director Abrid Shine has not agreed to accept the offer from Eros International. The thing is that Eros can get more than what they spent if the flick Action Hero Biju becomes a success like the film Premam which emerged as the second best Mollywood hit of all times after Mohanlal’s Drishyam made by Jeethu Joseph.
