Life of Josootty is unarguably the most awaited film of the Popular actor Dileep this year as it is directed by the most valuable director in Mollywood named Jeethu Joseph. He is coming with a Malayalam movie after the international success received by the Mohanlal starrer Drishyam which is still the highest grossing Malayalam movie ever made and resting at the top like an emperor of Mollywood films.
The other reason for it has created much anticipation is that it is the second association of Dileep with the director Jeethu Joseph, the first was My Boss which was a super success at box office and that gave a relief to Dileep when his movies were not doing much well at the box office. Now also his films are not getting the good reception from the audience that he usually get and even a widely appreciated film named Chandrettan Evideya was not able to create the Dileep Magic at box office. Because of this reason, the film Life of Josootty had become an important movie for Dileep in his career and a much awaited one for his fans as well.
Jeethu told the media that it will not be a thriller like Drishyam and it will not have any twists or turns in it as well. It is a film which has some fantasy elements in it and will have graphic works as well. Earlier they planned to get it released on this Onam season. But a delay in completing the graphic works made it to postpone its release date to September 18 as of now. The flick has Rachana Narayanan Kutty and Jyothi Krishna as female leads and also Aqsa Bhatt playing a key role as well.
It is story of a common villager from Kerala going to New Zealand after his marriage and the incidents follow after that. This time Rajesh Nair had penned down the screenplay for the Jeethu Joseph film. His previous movies, Drishyam and Memories were written by Jeethu himself. Jeethu is now fresh from the success of his Tamil film Papanasam with Kamal Haasan in the lead, which is the remake of his Mollywood success Drishyam as we all know.
