Rani and Padmini, the characters played by Manju Warrier and Rima Kallingal in the upcoming film named Rani Padmini which is directed by hit maker Aashiq Abu is all set to lend their hands to the cancer patients in a helping cause. Manju Warrier and Rima Kallingal is coming for the program organized by Canserve in association with St. Teresa’s college Ernakulam. The campaign is titled as ‘locks for hope’ and it is aiming at hair donation for the cancer patients who lost their hair due to the chemo therapy they undergoes as a part of their cancer treatment. The donated hair by people will be used to make wigs for the cancer patients.
The campaign will be promoted by Rani and Padmini aka Manju Warrier and Rima Kallingal on 14th November 2015 at St. Teresa’s college Ernakulam. The function will be held at 11 am on Wednesday. The organizers appeal everybody to come and attend the function and make it a big success and a great event. More participation means more donation and more help for the cancer patients.
Earlier this year actress Sai Pallavi had come to Kochi for promoting the activities of Canserve association with popular cricket player Sreesanth. Canserve is doing great in this field of charity and their services in this field will become more and more effective with each and every one of our participation in the campaigns they are initiating.
