Finecut Entertainments who put forward the crowd funding method of film production for the first time in Mollywood is all set to make their mark again in style. This time with some big ventures and that too in association with two other popular production houses. Finecut Entertainments which is the brain child of Santhosh Kottayi had entered to Mollywood with the film of the biggest star here, Mr. Mohanlal. The film named Laila o Laila was directed by Joshiey and it was released this year .
Now they have set up strategic tie ups with production houses like Dark Room Productions, CynCil Celluloid and all set to release a film in 2016 May. As per their press release they have a Mammootty film and a Mohanlal film in 2016. They had tied up with Trends Private Limited as well.
The Mammootty film of the team will be releasing in 2016 Pooja season and they are also financing a film with esteemed director VK Prakash with Young Stars in lead roles. They have a film with full of newcomers as well which will be directed by Vinil Vasu who is the head of Dark Room productions. All these above mentioned production houses has people with great knowledge and experience in Film industry working in it. Dark Room productions is led by Mr. Vinil Vasu who has great reputation in entertainment business and has a great network in the film industry as well.
CynCil Celluloid is led by Mr. George Sebastian who is regarded as the Man Friday of Mammootty. They had financed films like Emmanuel, Acha Din, The Last Supper etc. Trends private Limited is an advertising film production house and it was founded by director VK Prakash. He is, as you all know one of the most prolific film makers in Kerala. Together they want to give a new platform for the young talents and also to provide a transparent film production setting before the investors who is coming to this field. They want to give chances to young and fresh talents more but will also work with experienced hands as well.
