King Liar First Day Collection Report
Dileep starrer film scripted by Siddique-Lal and directed by Lal, named King Liar had released yesterday and opened to positive reports all around. The film which has Madonna Sebastian playing the female lead is a family comedy entertainer which is full of fun. As per the latest report coming from sources, the film had got off to a flier in box office and from the 127 screens all over Kerala it had grossed over 1.5 crore. But it failed to enter in to the 2 crore club of Mollywood regarding the opening day collection.
Now, only Mohanlal and Dulquer Salmaan got films which collected 2 cr+ on its opening day here in Mollywood. Mohanlal and Dulquar Salman had 2 films each which crossed 2 crore barrier on the first day itself. Mohanlal’s Casanovva and Loham did it and Dulquer’s Charlie and Kali did it.
With his last film Two Countries, Dileep had entered the 50 crore club of Mollywood and the film had celebrated 100 days last day as well. The 50 crore club of Mollywood only had Mohanlal, Nivin Pauly, Prithviraj and now Dileep in it. So Dillep is making records for himself now a days and hope that his King Liar too will repeat the magic done by Two Countries.
NB: The collection of King Liar which we updated today morning was given to us by the team behind the film. They had given us the figure of 2.33 crore. But later the trade guides from the industry confirmed the actual figure and it is around 1.5 crore. That is why we are correcting the mistake we had done. We are very sorry for the mistake we have done and hope we will not repeat such mistakes by god’s grace again. Once again extremely sorry for the incorrect figure.
