Pulimurugan surpassed the record set by Kabali and Sultan in UAE/GCC market
Pulimurugan, the Mohanlal starrer historical box office success is continuing with its sensational box office run and creating dream like records for Mollywood all over the globe.
The film had grossed around 75 crore from India alone in just 26 days and now created an all-time record there in UAE/GCC market. Pulimurugan had surpassed the record set by Super Star Rajinikanth starrer Kabali and Salman Khan starrer Sultan, in terms of show count in gulf countries.
Pulimurugan had 630 shows there in UAE/GCC market in its opening day, which is today. Kabali had 425 shows there on its opening day and Sultan had 225 shows there on its first day.
Pulimurugan is far ahead than these movies in terms of show count and it is an all-time record. Almost all shows were sold and reports says that, majority of the shows there till this coming Tuesday has been sold out.
It is just stunning. For the first time in the history of many GCC countries, there are fans shows as well for Puli Murugan. Group booking is also happening at GCC countries for Pulimurugan.
In UAE alone, the film will have 486+ shows, in Qatar there are 52+ shows and in Kuwait there are 18+ shows. In Oman 38+ shows are there and in Bahrain, there is 36+ shows.
It is expected to become the highest grossing South Indian film ever in UAE/GCC market surpassing the record set by Kabali, which is 25 crores.
