Mammootty joins the Tamil community in paying homage to Jayalalitha
Cheif Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalitha had passed away last night after battling prolonged illness. People from all walks of the society, including celebrities across the country are paying homage to her.
Mammootty in Kochi, said that he is joining the Tamil community in mourning Jayalalitha’s death. The actor said, “Even after being such a busy and prominent actress in the film industry, she decided to join politicians.
That was a great decision according to me. The sad demise of this iron lady, has inflicted a big loss to all the women, the field of politics and the whole of Tamil Nadu.
I can understand their bereavement being a resident ot Tamil Nadu myself. I am praying for her soul to rest in peace.”
Many celebrities are paying their respects to Jayalalitha through Facebook and Twitter. Rajinikanth said, the nation has lost a brave daughter. Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan also paid their tributes to Jayalalitha through tweets.
