Allu Sirish about his experience working with Mohanlal 1971 Beyond Borders
Tollywood actor Allu Sirish is making his Mollywood debut through 1971 Beyond Borders directed by Major Ravi. The movie stars Mohanlal in the lead.
1971 Beyond Borders is a war movie based on the 1971 war between India and Pakistan. Allu Sirish is playing an Army tank commander in the movie.
In the recent interview the young actor shared his experiences working in Malayalam film industry and the legendary actor Mohanlal.
He said, “We shot for a few scenes together. I could learn a lot from sharing screen space with him. He has this amazing ability for improvising on the spot without changing the content, that is what separates him from other regular actors.
He was very supportive and gave me some inputs during the scenes. He is very sweet and kept asking me how I was doing, whether I was comfortable.
I wanted to rehearse a few scenes, but he was fine with that. I would love to work with him in another movie – be it Telugu or Malayalam”.
The actor also added that it was physically very challenging to act in the movie. The first schedule was in
Mahajan, Rajasthan, where he had to endure the harsh weather while shooting for the movie.
Most of his portions were inside the Army battle tank that hardly had any space to move around. It was gruelling and the actor injured himself multiple times.
Allu Sirish’s brother Allu Arjun enjoys a big fan base in Kerala especially among the youths of the state. So he would have the burden of expectations while making his debut in Mollywood that too in a movie with Mohanlal in the lead.
