Fukri Malayalam movie : Director Siddique and actor Siddique join hands after 25 years
Actor Siddique is one of the most versatile actors in the film industry. He has shined equally in humour, emotional characters, villainous roles etc. He will be next seen playing a pivotal character in Jayasurya starrer Fukri. His role in Fukri has a lot of specialities behind it.
Fukri is directed by popular filmmaker Siddique. The last time actor Siddique played a part in the veteran director’s movie was back in 1991 in the blockbuster movie Godfather.
The two are working together again after a gap of 25 long years. Also this is the first time in his three decade long career that Siddique will be playing the title character in a movie.
The two have been close friends and stay in the same locality in Ernakulam. They regularly meet and talk about movies. It was only recently during casual talk that both of them realised it has been 25 years since they have worked together. Both of them scaled new heights during this time period.

Siddique even directed other industry superstars like Vijay and Salman Khan, while actor Siddique played many memorable characters in Malayalam during this period.
The actor recently in an interview has said that his role in Fukri will ba an interesting one. He is playing actor Lal’s father in the movie. Interestingly, this is also the first time Siddique is playing such an old character.
Director Siddique had mentioned in an interview that he chose to cast him because Fukri is a wealthy businessman who had his establishments in North India. The role demanded a certain grace and looks that only Siddique could bring to the table.
Fukri also stars Prayaga Rose Martin, Anu Sheetal, KPAC Lalitha essaying other important characters. The movie is jointly produced by Jenso Jose, Vaishak Rajan and director Siddique under the banner S Talkies.
