Issues with Vijay Babu settled : Sandra Thomas
The Malayalam film industry was already in trouble with the cinema strike issue, when reports about a police case filed by producer Sandra Thomas against her partner Vijay Babu started doing the rounds in the medias. The two together owned the popular production company Friday Film House. Sandra Thomas filed the case against Vijay Babu for allegedly assaulting her in his office. There were many speculations about the reasons for the tiff between the two including issues over ownership of the company.
Now the industry can heave a sigh of relief as the issue has been settled. Sandra Thomas has updated a post in her official Facebook account stating that all the issues between the two were resolved.
The post reads,
Dear Friends, We always celebrated our accomplishments. There was no jealousy involved. On a minor quarrel between us, our ‘toxic’ friends have found ways to rain on our parade, introducing storms and tempests of invalidation, apparently with the motive of belittlement and degradation. Still they often disguise themselves as ‘honest’ or ‘helpful’. Our issues are being sorted out between us and nothing can emotionally exhaust me. Here I raise the red flag for such emotional vampires who are trying to worsen things, propagating fallacious versions. Nothing can put a shade on the light of friendship.

Earlier after the case was filed against him, Vijay Baby posted in Facebook that Sandra Thomas and her husband have filed a fake case for the sake of taking over their business property. It is learnt that Sandra filed a non-bailable case against him for allegedly kicking her when she went to his office. Though Sandra was not ready for any compromise initially, she was later convinced by common friends. A popular young actor is said to have acted as the main mediator to settle the issue between the two.
Let’s hope that the two patch up soon to helm Friday Film House together and introduce more talents to the industry.
